About the Assam Boards

Assam, in northeastern India, is renowned for its wildlife, archaeological sites and lush tea plantations. Its commitment to education shows through well-established boards and universities.

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) conducts the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination — the Class 10 board exam — shaping the foundational education of students across the state.

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) conducts the HS Final Examination — the Class 12 board exam — across Arts, Commerce, Science and Vocational streams.
