AHSEC HS Final 2024 result declared — overall pass rate climbs to 87.4%
The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) declared the Class 12 HS Final results on 7 June 2026, with the overall pass percentage rising to 87.4% — the highest in five years. Of the 2.3 lakh students who appeared across Arts, Commerce, Science and Vocational streams, girls outperformed boys overall, continuing a multi-year trend.
Stream-wise results
The Science stream once again posted the strongest performance, followed closely by Commerce:
- Science — 91.2% pass
- Commerce — 89.6% pass
- Arts — 84.1% pass
- Vocational — 82.7% pass
This is the highest pass percentage we have recorded in five years — a testament to the hard work of our students and teachers.
